Everyone has heard a story of Cinderella, a young beautiful girl who finds her happily ever after with a charming prince. Cinderella is truly an amazing story and in the world there is a vast amount of different versions. I have always been fascinated with this fairy tale. So I have decided to embark on an adventure and within my life become acquainted with 300 different accounts of the relatively same tale.

Cinderella by Derrydale Books

Since I last wrote to you I have been working diligently to get some books read. Yet you must realize I do have school and homework. I had a great time heading to my local library! It is a treasure full of books! They have at least 30 different stories of Cinderella, which surprises me for my library is not that large. That made me so very happy! I have read seven children stories that I was able to grab from the library! They were all wonderfully different! What a splendid surprise!

I actually found this book at my house. It is very small and took me a minute and a half to read. I wish I could post a picture of it. It is old and has dog bites on it.... Basically it was the basic Cinderella story and told the regular plot of Cinderella. A strange recurrence I have found is that for coach men the fairy godmother used lizards. Three books I have read so far have told this detail, it quite amazed me. In one of the pictures Cinderella is in her dress and she looks Russian with magnificent red earmuffs.
